Summer is the season to kick off those high heels and still look good. What’s more, comfort is in. The top designers are even showing their chic dresses with sneakers.

I actually prefer to bare my toes during heat wave season, so here are my top flat sandals at Les Promenades Gatineau.

1. Pretty and pink

5. High heels (if you must)

If you’re one of those who can’t live without her high heels, here’s your vacation model of choice.  With its sturdy heels, soft leather and cushioned insole, you’ll be able to walk all day in search of the best ice cream joint, even with your feet balancing on an angle. (Geox at Le Pacha, $160)
