To mark Les Promenades Gatineau’s 40th birthday, we’re pulling out all the stops. That’s right — we’re celebrating our b-day big time by offering you a bunch of free activities. Whether you come as a family, a group of friends, a couple or on your own, we’ve planned a year packed with fresh activities.
Your top leisure spot
Some of you have probably noticed that there’s a leisure area in the court in front of H&M. It features giant versions of games like foosball, chess, checkers, tic tac toe and Jenga. As well, every Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. until the end of the year, you can see performances by up-and-coming local artists. Ladies, get out your favourite white T-shirt, match it with your striped soft pants and take in the show. Warning: You’ll definitely be tapping your feet.

Your mission: Play this observation game
Think you know Les Promenades Gatineau like the back of your hand? Prove it! Both small ones and grownups will get a kick out of taking part in our free “escape room”-style observation game and answering our trivia questions on the centre’s history, appearance, shops and more. Eagle-eyed and sly as a fox? Well, come try your luck! Who knows — maybe you’ll win one of the many gift cards up for grabs! Put on your best footwear, get yourself a straw hat for your investigations and — boom — game on!
So to all you amateur Columbos — ready, set, go!
